I’ve always gotten good grades in school, always been able to read complicated stuff, do complicated math, sometimes been considered one of the smart guys in the room. And, yet, I’ve always been confused by everything going on around me. I thought I was alone; now I know I’m not. I thought if I went and got another degree, I’d learn enough to know what was going on. I got a college degree, a high-fallutin fellowship honor and finally an MBA. So, now I know all about strategic thinking and leadership, not to mention t-scores, regression analysis and income statement configuration.
And I still don’t get it, am still confused. My goal with this site is to amuse and inform — to show where I’m confused, sometimes maybe get a chuckle or two — and help people learn a few things, especially about business and business education.
