There’s a lot of talk at the AlwaysOn Innovation Summit (#svis11 and #aosummit for Twitterers) about HTML5 vs. Apps, and mobile devices. Doing business and communication strategy for Treesaver, we did a lot of thinking about the topic. Investor and rock musician Roger McNamee (@RogerMcNamee) went on about this a lot, making a clarion call, basically for HTML5 developers to create the new appified Web –> and to use WiMax to access that Web and get around the main phone carriers, such as Verizon and AT&T.
Here’s the deck of a presentation Dorian gives on the topic. It’s constantly updated. This one is from May.
