Speaking, Speaking, Speaking

A number of engagements and visits coming up where you can catch us speaking, covering, shooting:

NHPR’s Word of Mouth: Dorian is a regular guest on the show. He was on Wednesday to talk about the New York Times’ paywall and what it portends. Look for a piece by Dorian about the issues upcoming on PBS MediaShift (a client, and where Dorian often contributes columns).

American Press Institute’s seminar “Creating the Digital User Experience.” On May 13 at 10:45 a.m. in Washington, D.C., we’ll be presenting about HTML vs. Apps (and giving a lot of insight for publishers on how to handle cross-platform publishing for computers, mobile, tablets and more.

Social Media Weekend at Columbia University in New York, Dorian and a guest will present on “The ROI of Social Media”. Come by for real look at how to actually measure whether your social media efforts are worth what you’re putting into them.

IAB Long Tail Fly In, 2011. We’ll again be covering this conference of small businesses using the Web and advertising to great advantage as they visit the halls of power in Washington. May 23-24.

And we’ll be at Paid Content’s mobile (as in phones and other devices) conference, a breakfast they’re hosting this month on media measurement, the AlwaysOn media summit at Stanford University toward the end of July. And more.
