iPad, PBS MediaShift and “Word of Mouth”

Sparked by Dorian’s story on client PBS MediaShift about the iPad (“Are Magazine iPad Apps Profitable in the Long Haul?”), New Hampshire Public Media’s “Word of Mouth” program will on Tuesday, Nov. 30, feature Dorian for about 10 minutes talking about the latest in mag apps, technology and the like.

You can see some of Dorian’s links about the iPad and apps in the MediaShift story, here at his Delicious bookmarks, and watch this video on the Marie Claire app — not much different than a magazine, and we couldn’t help but notice that the hands working the mag are way to masculine, and hardly fashionable enough (no rings, polish, jewelry?!) to be a real Marie Claire fan.
